Is it free?
Yes, completely. StaffRanker is supported by optional donations, not paid tiers — ranking and verification are always earned, never bought.
How do I create a profile?
Sign up with Discord, Steam, or email, then complete your profile — bio, skills, games, and availability. A complete profile gets discovered and hired faster.
For staff
How do I apply to a job?
Browse open roles, open one, and apply right through your StaffRanker profile. You'll need a short bio first so orgs can see what you do.
How does the trust score work?
It's a balanced blend of verified organizations, tenure, rehire rate, verified reviews, and a clean record. New profiles show "Building reputation" until they qualify — your profile's "Why this score" card breaks it down.
How do I get verified work history?
Add a role at an organization on your profile; the organization confirms it. Only verified history counts toward your trust score.
How do I get a verified badge?
Request verification from your Reputation dashboard with proof of who you are; the StaffRanker team reviews it.
For organizations
How do I post a job?
Create an organization, then post a role with a custom title plus a category/subcategory and tags. You'll need an org description to publish your public page.
How do I review applicants?
Open an applicant's "packet" to see their trust chip, verified work history, reviews, role-fit match, and answers — then shortlist, accept, reject, or save them to your talent pool.
How do I verify someone's work history?
Confirm or deny their employment claim from your organization's experience-claims area. Confirmed roles become verified history on their profile.
How do I get my organization verified?
Request verification and the StaffRanker team reviews it against clear criteria. Verification is earned, never purchased.
Trust, reviews & safety
What makes a review "verified"?
A review is verified when the reviewer and the person reviewed shared a confirmed organization. Verified reviews count toward the trust score; everything else is clearly labeled unverified and doesn't affect it.
Can I dispute an unfair review?
Yes — dispute it from the review and the team will look into it. It may be hidden while under review.
